people should research more

I've come across many postings on forums where people will start with what could be an interesting subject and article, which will provoke good and bad reactions. People on all sides of the topic, put their opinions across, but when someone posts actual facts about the subject, an answer/solution to the topic, they won't get any replies and the thread stops

why?

it's as though hiding behind your computer screen, also lets you lose your ability to have a debate properly!
